    Cool hotel with great and gorgeous location and reasonably clean throughout. Modern and stylish room with a card key to ours, incredible employees at the Reception Desk. Variety of delicious breakfast options.

    Being next to Adriatic Sea and facing the old town of Dubrovnik and walking distance to the old town, the spa facilities in the hotel and the wonderful terrace where you can eat or drink and helpful staff makes Excelsior Hotel a perfect place to stay.

    Excellent location. Spotless and good facilities.Very good breakfast. Friendly staff.

    Room had no view and was overlooked from the street.Very deep bath which would be awkward for anyone elderly.Unpredictable lighting system.Not very convenient lift connection.Beware cost of taxi from Hotel to airport.

    Very comfortable bed.Improbably large bath and beautiful private terrace with remarkable views.Spa, bathing facilities absolutely first class. Location is perfect and the staff all very helpful and accomodating

    Brekfast finished too early for a holiday hotel at 10am and was definately not 5* with no fresh juice -just syrup and weak coffee. Generally the food was expensive and average at best.Ameliorated by lots of good eating places nearby.

    The service at breakfast was excellent - with old world charm, waiters were anxious to help in any way they could. Our room had a wonderful view of the old walled city of Dubrovnik.

    The reception on one occasion was not up to scratch - perhaps it was the end of a long shift!

    We had a fantastic week here! The location couldn't be better, just a short walk to the old city. The staff was helpful in organizing our island hopping excursions. The sea view from our room was amazing.

    In my wife's opinion, the hotel needs better kid-friendly amenities.

    the hotel has excellent location, the terrace for sunbathing and swimming is great and there are wonderful views of the coast and old town. We had a lovely stay in your lovely country.

    Excelsior is in a great location, with stunning views of Old town from several levels of the hotel, a fantastic Spa and a very cosy atmosphere in spite of its size. Breakfast buffet was good and rich, the hotel beach simply dreamy and the massage in the Spa one of the best ever. A stone throw away from old town, this place is and will remain my favorite oasis in Dubrovnik!

    I had an unforgettable time at this fabulous hotel, especially enjoying the delicious breakfast spread with fresh fruits and eggs and the stunning view from my balcony. The luxurious spa facilities totally made my stay worthwhile! I’d definitely come back for that amazing poolside ambiance, though the photos of my room didn't fully capture the reality.
